Individual and Family Services

The Individual and Family Services (IFS) program is a state-only funded program of the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) that provides a variety of services to help families maintain and stabilize the family unit. Participation in all DDA services is voluntary.

The IFS program is intended to be a partnership between the state and families to:

  • Help support families who have a DDA eligible family member living in the family home;
  • Provide families with a choice of services; and
  • Allow families more control over resources allocated to them.
