Take care of your health. Get regular check-ups, take medications as prescribed, and prevent or manage ongoing health conditions. You will likely feel better and do the things you want to do.
Resources to help you manage your health
A personal health record (PHR) helps you organize your health-related information. You can also use the information to better communicate health issues to your doctors or other health care providers. HealthIT.gov provides information about PHRs and links to Personal Health Records and eHealth Hubs.
Find information on medications that older adults should consider avoiding at HealthinAging.org, created by the American Geriatrics Society’s Health in Aging Foundation to provide consumers and caregivers with up-to-date information on health and aging.
Washington State Quitline, sponsored by the Washington State Department of Health, provides free counseling and connections to individuals’ health plans for nicotine patches or gum. It can help people quit tobacco when they're ready.
Washington’s Community Living Connections staff are available to help you explore your options to meet your current needs or create a plan for the future.
